Hope for Healing is a private therapy practice located in North Central Kansas in the town of Beloit. Our office is located in a quiet residential district, offering privacy and a comfortable, home-like environment optimally combined with a high level of professionalism. We treat a large variety of mental, emotional and social/relationship concerns including ages from childhood to the elderly. Katrina Jones, M.S., LCMFT, RPT
Katrina Jones received her master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. She has also completed the Play Therapy Certificate Program through the Kansas City Playtalk Therapy Institute. Katrina has lived in the Beloit area for over 30 years and has a passion for providing rural Kansas residents access to high quality therapy services. She works from an attachment-based perspective, treating a variety of issues including couple and family relationships, trauma, grief, divorce-related concerns, childhood development, and mental health diagnoses. Katrina views seeking help as a strength and believes healing is possible even in the most difficult situations.
Skilar K. Winder, LMSW, LAC
Skilar Winder received her master's degree from the University of Kansas in Social Work and is currently practicing as an LMSW. Skilar is actively working towards her clinical license of Social Work and has recently received her License of Addiction Counseling.
Skilar was raised on a farm in the small community of Alton, Kansas. She and her husband live on a farm North of Beloit with their four beautiful children. Skilar enjoys spending time with her family and working on the farm together.
Skilar focuses on direct family centered care and helps individuals grow to a healthier self by looking at inner strengths we all possess. She works with individuals, families, children and couples, focusing on areas of anxiety, depression, parent- child issues, couple conflict, anger management, domestic violence, abuse, addictions and trauma informed care. She believes in the importance of living your life, not your illness as there is no health without mental health.
Miranda Robinson, Office Manager
Miranda joined us in October 2018 as our Office Manager. She received her Associate's Degree in General Studies with a business emphasis from Fort Hays State University in May 2018. Miranda lives in Downs with her daughter and dog, Luna. Miranda loves living in a small rural town with supportive communities. She likes spending time with her daughter and family, being outside with the dog, traveling, and taking photos of local landscapes.
Miranda will be the smiling face when you come in. She will be happy to help you get acquainted with our office and scheduling appointments.
